I was recently approached by a neighbor at a campground, asking if my slide supports are necessary. So I recorded a video and wrote a quick review. Here it is:
TL:DR – Get them! Although they’re not “necessary,” for me, they’re a must have.
These heavy-duty steel support jacks are designed to hold up to 5,000 lbs each, providing some seriously robust support for your camper. With an adjustable height range from 19″ to 47″ and incremental lock positions, they offer flexibility for various RV setups. (With my dinette slide set up, they’ve always remained on the lowest height setting.)
The set of two ensures that both tracks on your your slide-out remain secure, reducing the stress on your RV’s frame and prolonging its life.
If you’re on the fence like my campground neighbor was, I hope this post helped. These are definitely worth it. Check them out here.
